In recent decades, we have seen a very frequent use of the word “love” in our society. However, what has been offered or imposed on young people in particular under this label has nothing to do with pure love but is instead disdainful lawlessness and immorality. Unfortunately, many people have suffered great harm to body and soul as a result of this deception.
Everyone longs for love. Therefore, it is important for us to be able to distinguish between real love and ungodly lust.
God is love – that is what the Bible says. This word shows us the right way to love. God is the source of love. God’s love is true love: pure, holy, and strong. Every person finds security and safety in this love of God. Through this love, he is freed from the yoke of sin, is transferred into the kingdom of God, and is a member of the body of Jesus Christ. The person who has been plagued by fear and insecurity in the cold loneliness of the world comes into the warmth of fellowship with the Father. He not only receives the love of God, but the love of God fills him. Now love is the power in his life. It determines his actions; it permeates his thoughts and gives him joy and happiness. Life takes on a whole new meaning. It becomes so infinitely precious and permanently happy that nothing in this world can tarnish it.
Once you have found this source, keep it with all diligence! Give everything you have to stay in this love of God! This divine love keeps people on the right path. This makes it visible everywhere in life. God is never there where disorderly conduct and impurity reign.
Do not be seduced by fine words. If you seek love, then seek God, for God is love!
